My Legal Journey: From Delhi-NCR Roots to a New Chapter in the Toronto-GTA
Where It All Began: My Legal Roots in Delhi-NCR
My passion for the law began early, rooted in a deep commitment to justice. I graduated from high school as a class topper and an all-India CBSE board topper in Economics. I pursued a B.Com. (Hons.) from Hansraj College, Delhi University, followed by an LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University.
After being called to the Bar Council of Delhi in 2010, I worked alongside some of the finest legal minds before establishing my independent practice, representing clients in various criminal, civil and family law cases. I also briefly served as Junior Counsel for the State of Uttar Pradesh at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. I was also appointed as a Local Commissioner by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court in several matters.
A New Chapter: Growing My Legal Practice in the Toronto-GTA
- In 2019, I moved to Canada.
- In 2020, I was called to the Bar in Ontario and gained invaluable experience working with diverse boutique law firms, primarily handling family law files and some immigration matters.
- In 2025, I launched my independent solo practice in the Toronto-GTA area. While my current focus is on family law, I plan to expand into criminal and civil litigation over time.
